Lake rules

These rules are implemented to ensure the safety of the fish and our guests. Please read them before you fish — everyone on site is expected to follow them.

Important: Failure to abide by these rules will result in you being asked to leave the fishery without a refund.

  1. Maximum of 3 rods allowed and rods must never be left unattended at any time. Minimum 15lb line.

  2. No fixed leads, lead core, leaders or naked line. Only Korda-style leaders allowed or tubing. No Magic Twig. No Zig Rigs.

  3. No braided fishing line (OK for marker and spod rods).

  4. No sacking of fish.

  5. Antiseptic must be used and present at the weigh station and used accordingly.

  6. No nuts. Tigernuts only allowed if purchased on site in restricted quantity.

  7. Particles are allowed only if purchased from main manufacturers in sealed containers (no home prepared). These are also available to purchase on site.

  8. Nets and Slings are provided to anglers upon arrival. £100 deposit will be required for the loan of the equipment and will be reimbursed at the end of your stay subject to damage checks.

  9. No excessive alcohol use.

  10. No drugs.

  11. No showers after 9:15am for leaving guests on Saturday mornings.
